AP 3D
SUPER SKETCH BOOKS

You have your sketch book. You've seen the Ringling presentation with examples of great sketch books. Now it's your turn! In case you missed my post on Visual Journaling, take a look. You can also browse through these images on Google for examples.
Sketch out your ideas. Include pictures that inspire you. Write about how you feel about what you have created. Record glazes that you've used and how they have worked. Research new techniques and write the results of your experiments.
Your sketch book is part of your grade. Get started!

AP PORTFOLIOS
The AP 2009 portfolios are now online. Scroll down to view the sample 3D portfolios. Examine each the quality, breadth and concentration. Read over the requirements and scoring guidelines. Take notes in your sketch book. Write down any questions that you have. Make sure you have a clear understanding of what is expected of you and how many pieces you need to complete.
Currently you need to be working on your heArt and Soul piece to be ready for firing by 11/15.
You also need to contribute a piece for our fund raiser at Jon Carl's Salon. You can design a box or decorate a purse. We will take photos so that these pieces can still be included in your portfolio. These pieces are due early in November.
